Graydon Head & Ritchey’s Commercial Real Estate Industry Group regularly represents clients in judicial and quasi-judicial proceedings as well as mediations and arbitrations involving real estate matters. This includes matters such as zoning and plan review, tax valuation and appeals, condemnation proceedings, and operational issues such as tenant disputes, eviction proceedings and maintenance and property management contracts. The real estate team works includes litigators to ensure that, regardless of the nature of the proceeding, it is properly staffed with lawyers experienced in both real estate and litigation or arbitration, as appropriate. We have also been engaged in complex annexation proceedings.

Our attorneys have both successfully obtained and contested zone changes, conditional uses, and variances for numerous clients through both the administrative and litigation process, appearing before planning and zoning commissions and boards of zoning appeals.
