Biography

Andrea practices in the Firm's Human Services Client Service Department.  Andrea’s practice focuses in the areas of labor and employment law.

Prior to joining Graydon Head, Andrea worked as an associate at Howard, Stallings, From & Hutson, P.A. in Raleigh, North Carolina.  At HSFH, she worked in a variety of areas, mainly focusing on different aspects of corporate law, including entity formation and real estate transactions.  While in law school she interned for the Honorable James A. Wynn of the North Carolina Supreme Court and for several members of the North Carolina House of Representatives.

A native of North Carolina, Andrea is a 2006 graduate of The University of North Carolina School of Law where she earned her J.D with honors.  At UNC, she was involved in many extra-curricular activities, including serving as Vice President of the Carolina Public Interest Law Organization, a student run non-profit providing grants to law students doing unpaid public interest work.  She also earned a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University in 2003.  Taking full advantage of the opportunities Washington, D.C. has to offer, she interned in the office of Congressman David Price during her last year of school.

Andrea is a member of the Firm's Women's Professional Development Group and tutors fourth grade student at School of Creative and Performing Arts.  On Sunday mornings she can be found teaching the preschool class at Valley Temple’s religious school.
