Biography

Karen practices in the area of corporate law with an emphasis in mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining GH&R, Karen served as staff counsel to Ryder System, Inc. in Miami, Fla., where she focused on contract negotiations, customer disputes and acquisition matters. She earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law in 1996 and received her B.S.B.A. in Finance from East Carolina University in 1986. Karen is a non-practicing Certified Public Accountant. She spends her free time serving as a Board Member of Cincinnati Area Senior Services, and she and her dogs perform pet therapy to patients in hospitals and nursing homes. Karen and her family live in the Northgate area.

Karen co-chairs the firm's Women's Professional Development Group.
