Biography

Tom is a general corporate lawyer with a major emphasis on conducting negotiations for clients in several different areas of corporate practice. He has represented clients in the negotiation of financial transactions and domestic and foreign corporate acquisitions. He has handled foreign acquisitions, joint ventures and financings in Brazil, Columbia, Spain, The United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada and New Zealand. Recently, Tom has been retained to represent clients in the health care area including long-term care facilities and continuing care retirement communities and an alliance of those entities. In keeping with his emphasis on negotiations, another major part of his practice has been devoted to representing management in all phases of labor management relations including collective bargaining. He has appeared before the National Labor Relations Board and in federal and state courts for clients in the industrial, construction, health care and service industries.  Based on the grading and comments of his peers, Tom is recognized with an AV Rating, the highest rating given to lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell.

Tom is dedicated to the community as well as the law.  In 2001, the United Way of Greater Cincinnati presented Tom with the New Century Award for “Improving Our Community.”
